Excel to Tally XML
Type vouchers in Excel, import them into TallyPrime or Tally.ERP 9 in one go. Sales, purchase, payment, receipt, journal, contra, credit and debit notes, with GST ledgers and bill references. Checks every voucher first.
What it does
Client sends a month of bank entries in Excel? Typing 200 vouchers into Tally one by one is a day gone. Put them in the sheet, check, import. Ten minutes.
- All 8 voucher types: Sales, Purchase, Payment, Receipt, Journal, Contra, Credit Note, Debit Note, and your own voucher types.
- GST lines and bill-wise: CGST / SGST / IGST are just ledger lines. Bill Ref + New Ref / Agst Ref / Advance / On Account so party bills settle in Tally.
- Checks before Tally sees it: Debit not equal to Credit (with the difference), both columns filled, impossible dates, split vouchers, wrong bill type. Row numbers for every problem. Nothing is written until all are fixed.
- Lists every ledger used, so you create the missing ones in Tally before importing.
- Tamil and ₹ safe: names and narration in any language import cleanly.
- Both Tally versions: TallyPrime and Tally.ERP 9.
Comes with a fill-in template, a sample month for a fake trader (with the ledgers for a test company) and a sheet full of mistakes to see the checks. Accounting vouchers only: item-wise inventory invoices are not in this version. Not made by or linked to Tally Solutions.
